As always, we are trying to work up to the level of our cameras. Both of us are in new learning curves again about lenses, file storage, etc. Please bear with us.
David now shoots with the new Canon 5D with a 24/105 lens. It's a big whopper, with 22 megapixels per shot. I may get a new computer out of the venture because each picture takes up a LOT of space -- and time. This new camera has turned out to be a MAJOR headache for me. The files are so large that they suck up huge amounts of space on my computer, have to be resized for every single thing I'd want to use them for, etc. We will both think twice about buying a camera of this capability.
Well, great! I can't post any of David's photos because of the file size without reducing them to postage stamp size. It would take days to load even a few photos. They don't tell you that in the store, folks. Nevertheless, here's a sample of his pictures from the trip. He likes the camera and is just beginning to learn its capabilities.
